Ebrahim Ghasminezhad, a native of Shiraz, was born on the 5th of Tir 1361.He was 43 years old at the time of his death, and his life, like that of many ordinary people, was intertwined with effort, work, and hope for the future. On the 18th of Dey, Ebrahim, along with other citizens of Shiraz, took to the streets; alongside people who raised their voices to express their demands and aspirations that they believed had been taken from them.Like thousands of others, he was present in the crowd in an atmosphere filled with hope for change and the attainment of freedom, justice, and human dignity. According to one of his close relatives in an interview with Radio Farda, Ebrahim left home on the 18th of Dey, and his family was unaware of his fate until the next day.It was then revealed that he had lost his life in the Miyaneh-Rud neighborhood of Shiraz due to being hit by live ammunition.This account also indicates that after Ebrahim's death, security agencies pressured his family to introduce him as a "Basij martyr" and, in return, receive benefits and an amount of approximately one billion Toman; however, the family rejected this offer.
