Mostafa Howzchi was a 34-year-old unmarried man with an associate degree, born and raised in Shahr-e Ray, Tehran. He pursued sports professionally and was well-known in the bodybuilding community, actively working toward earning his coaching license from the Bodybuilding Federation. Mostafa was also a mountaineer. His sister wrote of him in an Instagram post: "You loved the mountains, the silence of the peaks, the fresh air as the sun rose through the clouds, and the trails that could only be conquered through patience and endurance." According to her, every time Mostafa packed his backpack, he proved to everyone that no summit is ever conquered by wishing alone; rather, one must fight for it, endure exhaustion, fall, rise again, and press forward step by step.
