Death سید حمید صالحی 33 years old in Iran Varamin

Fallen Hero Hamid Salehi was one of the protesting Iranian citizens from Varamin who lost his life during the protests on 9 January 2026 (19 Dey 1404) in the Qarchak region. The cause of his death was a direct sniper shot from a height (hitting the head/upper body). He was a valiant son of Varamin who, on 9 January 2026 (the nineteenth day of Dey 1404), sacrificed his precious life for lofty human ideals. The narrative of Hamid's death is the bitter tale of a hunted prey who, amidst the crowd, fell to the ground without a sound being heard. He was targeted near Qarchak's "Centennial" Tower, a place where the gaze of snipers from above weighed heavily on the people, so that his name might stand as a testament to the oppression of a generation who did not even hear the sound of the bullet that took their lives. Hamid Salehi will no longer walk the streets of Qarchak, but the memory of this free-spirited young man, who was targeted so unjustly and in a heavy silence, remains eternally etched in the collective memory of the Iranian people and in the crimson annals of freedom-seeking. The brother of Fallen Hero Hamid Salehi: "The title 'martyr' is a disgrace for our Fallen Hero."
