Yaser Majidi was only twenty years old. He was a second-year chemistry student at Arak University. Yaser was an exceptional student who held grand dreams for his future. His aspiration was to pursue his studies in chemistry to advanced levels and one day earn his doctorate in the field. Alongside his university studies, he strove to support himself and cover part of his own living and educational expenses. During summers, he worked as a laborer, never hesitating to take on any job to make ends meet; he wanted to pay for his own education so as not to impose an added financial burden on his family. Yaser had not yet married—a twenty-year-old young man whose countless dreams and plans for the future were left forever unfulfilled. In a cherished video left behind of him, Yaser is seen dancing—a portrait of the simple joys and happy moments he shared with his family.
