Alireza Mahdipour; a red tulip from the land of Mimand

Death علیرضا مهدیپور 24 years old in Iran Meymand Fars

Written by: JavidBaan

Alireza, a young man full of life with an innocent smile from Meymand, Fars, the land of rosewater and Persian distillates, was one who on Thursday, the eighteenth of Dey, in the Meymand protests, was shot in the head with a direct bullet by the Sepah's executioners, and like the fragrant petals of the Muhammadan rose, he fell on the streets of Meymand. Alireza's friends, who was twenty-four years old, talk about his humor mixed with shyness and his countless wishes for life. He, who was a simple worker in a plastic door factory for bottles, went to the street to ask for a better life and in the hope of finding a new window to a life that, like the fragrant distillates of his land, would be pleasant and life-giving, and he never returned. Alireza's family, out of fear of his body being stolen, took him home, and according to eyewitnesses, the bullet wound was so torn that Alireza's red blood was flowing from it, as if the street had become tulip-colored. Alireza was buried in the silence and unawareness of the pink soil of Meymand on the evening of Friday, the nineteenth of Dey. May his memory be honored.
